In my article ( How to use Pega GenAI Connect to process incoming email and attached document ), it shows a configuration that using an activity rule you can set an attachment property rule to a PDF file attached to a case. And, this attachment property is referenced in the GenAI rule for intelligent document processing. Refer to Step 13 under ‘How to configure’ section. Not sure if this provides an exact answer you are looking for but hope it provides some useful info.
