Problem with SA 8.7 mission exercise task US-2012

“Expected field label to be Globally unique ID But found Vehicle ID”

I followed the walktrough and i did exactly the same actions. I tried changing the field label even if not said to do like this in the walktrough or task instructions but still the task don´t pass.

Can you help me?

I solved the problem by myself so i will post here the solution. The problem is caused by either having forgot to check “Reference data is copied to the case” and by trying to remove and add again the field you create another view and is a mess.

I don´t think is related to the Vehicle ID field label, i tried to change it to “Globally unique ID” but didn´t work.

The steps for fixing the problems without restarting the misssion exercise:

  1. Go in Dev Studio
  2. App → Tour-CarRentals-Data → Vehicle → User Interface → Section
  3. Delete all the Sections like “SelectVehicle”, “SelectVehicle_vehicleID” etc…
  4. Now go in Tour-CarRentals-Work → RentalReservation-> UserInterface → Section
  5. Delete SelectVehicle
  6. Go back to the case type Rental Reservation → Select Vehicle view
  7. Delete the VehicleID field
  8. Search for VehicleID on the top right bar and Delete the related property
  9. Start again the US-2012 task only
