Pega Robot Studio is KO for Visual Studio Update 3 Launcher failure

Hello.

I’m trying to install Pega Robot Studio version 19.1. in order to execute the challanges included in the mission “Robotics System Architect” on a Windows OS 10.

Everything is going well until the Visual Studio Update 3 setup launcher, that fails, causing the setup to finish unsuccessfully. The missing update seems to be the KB3022398. The installation process cannot retrive this Update 3 from internet.

The skip package option does not work.

Any suggestions for this issue?

Fabio

@FabioR80

This is a known issue observed recently in Pega Robotics Installation as the installer(Update3 package .exe) file was removed from the MS server location.

As a temporary workaround, we need to install the offline Update3 package to move forward with the installation. To get the offline package and steps to install, we request you to raise an incident with Pega Support Team.

@Aditya Menda Thanks a lot for your feedback. How can I raise an incident with Pega Support Team?

Fabio

Hi @FabioR80!

You can raise a support incident by logging into My Support Portal.

@MarissaRogers. Hello Marissa. I tried to use Pega Support page, see attached file. There is no link or button to click on, in order to create an incident. Is this the right page?

Thanks

Fabio

Hey @FabioR80!

That is the correct page. However, you should have a button “New Request” In the top right.

You will want to reach out to your Support Contact Administrator to get yourself set up with access to create tickets. Here is a link to our Support Contact Administrator Guide.

If that doesn’t work, I’d reach out to your Account Executive.
