Hi,

This question is for creator of Parapet component (Pega component available in marketplace - Parapets - Development Governance and More | Pega)

I try to use parapet component but I have issue when I create a new version of an activity and the component is activated: I loose all the parameter in the activity signature (property .pyXMLSignature is reset).

When I check the activity Rule-Obj-Activity.CheckForParapetsWarnings, I see a comment about this property but the step is deactivated (step 4 - refer to BUG-490934).

Do you know why I have this issue?

For information, our Pega platform is in version 8.3.5

@JohanG54 I checked the BUG info and it is listed as being fixed in Pega 8.4 which is available for download.

Also View java modifies the data model , but does not SAVE those changnes -the suggestion was to just close the Activity & reopen it or do Actions - > Refresh, that will reload the correct Activity clipboard page.

@chinb could you provide some input here?

@MarijeSchillern : Thanks for your feedback.

We will upgrade to 8.7 soon. I will check if the issue occurs again after the upgrade.

Currently, I should customize this activity in our custom ruleset to reactivate step 4 and 6 (and it works) to avoid issue with parameter while we are not updated to 8.7
