Obtaining Smart Dispute Association distribution jar files

Hello,

I have been tasked with installing Smart Disputes for Issuers and Acquirers, 7.48 on top of FSIF version 8.6 on top of Pega Platform 8.6.3 – all of them in a private cloud instance.

The installation guide(s) indicate installing the following optional distribution jar files but I do not have them in the downloaded software:

SmartDispute_Acquirer_Unified\Rules\SmartDisputeUnified_7.48.jar

SmartDispute_Visa\Rules\SmartDispute_Visa_Schema_748.jar (shared layer)
SmartDispute_Visa\Rules\SmartDispute_Visa_748.jar (shared layer)
SmartDispute_Visa\Rules\Canada\SmartDispute_Visa_Canada_748.jar (shared layer)

… (more. but only showed a few so you all understand files that I am missing)

However, as I do not have access to download the software, they were downloaded for me. But in the downloaded software, I do not have the above files or directories.

How do I get these files? (or how do I request the download of those files? – where are they found so I can direct the individual to find them?)

Hi Rob,

You should be able to download the software from Pega Community following the below path.

Pega Community → Support → Download Pega Software

This will list all the Pega products you are subscribed. For Smart Dispute for Issuers you should see 3 offerings

  1. Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers

  2. Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers - Visa Compliance Service

  3. Pega Smart for Issuers - Mastercard Compliance Service

The Visa package will have the files listed in the question.

So ensure all 3 offerings are downloaded. Note to download the release package and not compliance.

If you are not seeing the offering reach out to your account team.

As we wanted to install the Pega Smart Dispute for Acquirers does the SmartDisputeUnified_7.48.jar file also a part of the Release Package for Pega Smart Dispute for Acquirers?

Hi Rob,

It is not that the Smart Dispute for Issuers would be missing Visa, Mastercard and AMEX, the packages are segregated based on the subscription. Example: Visa only issuers download Smart Dispute for Issuers and Smart Dispute for Issuer - Visa compliance service only and need not take up Mastercard.

As you are looking for Acquirer download the below 3 packages

  1. Pega Smart Dispute for Acquirers

  2. Pega Smart Dispute for Acquirers - Visa Compliance Service

  3. Pega Smart Dispute for Acquirers - Mastercard Compliance Service

Once you select the Visa Compliance service you will get a drop down as shown below. The highlighted one is the release package. The compliance packages and hot fixes to be installed once release package is installed.

Hi Rakesh,

this is very helpful. not quite there yet but getting there..

I still don’t see the DisputeAll.jar file as outlined in the install guide. (is that separate jar file no longer needed?)

Also, when I try and install this jar file: Smart_Dispute_Acquirer_Compliance_Visa_Data_October_2021_748.jar

I get 50 errors of this type (is there another dependent jar that is supposed to be installed before these compliance jar files):

Hi Rob,

I hope you have installed “Pega Disputes and Payment Exceptions for Acquirers v7.48 Visa” first as i have highlighted in my previous image.

That should be installed first before you can install compliance then you should not get this error. Also hope you are iimporting the files inside the package and not importing the whole package

Yes, we are only installing the Pega distribution jar files and not the packaged ZIP.

Yes, I hadn’t receive that identified artifact list before installing the compliance files.

Does this jar file still exist though:

SmartDispute_Acquirer_Unified\Rules\SmartDisputeUnified_7.48.jar

Hello Rob,

Can I ask what’s the solution to this? I am also trying to install PEGA Smart Dispute for Issue on PEGA Platform 8.5 and Financial Service Framework.

I don’t see the installation jar files as you have mentioned in the downloaded files but these are mentioned in the installation guide of Smart Dispute?

@varmr - Appreciate if you can help me as well? I have downloaded this installation package - Pega Disputes and Payment Exception for Issuers v7.48 and referring to installation guide from the below link - Pegasystems Documentation

I see that this package specifically is missing in package as compared to installation guide -

SmartDisputeBase_Schema.jar
