I find it a bit strange that when I add an action to the Actions data type tab, it doesn’t appear. The flow action, view, and section are already created, but they’re not in the tab, and there’s no way to add them. When I try to add an action, it always creates a new one. Has anyone else experienced this, and how can I fix it without deleting the existing action and creating a new one?
Hello @HalynaK2
You need to ensure that the single lookup data page of your data type is in place with the unique parameter setup and returning the data properly. Regardless of whether it is fetching data from pega database or from an external service.
Hope this helps

Please ensure to follow the below steps
- Data Type → Actions → + Action → Configure View

Hello @JayachandraSiddipeta
I checked the lookup Data page and it works perfectly.
I created 2 different actions, but only one is visible on Actions tab. However, I can see both actions in the list of actions to choose and I can choose any of them. I mean that Action is not visible, but exists.
It is a little strange behavior, that’s why i asked if somebody faced the same problem.
But I also don’t understand why adding an existing one isn’t allowed in the Actions tab. It always creates a new one there.
Thanks @RameshSangili for detailed explanation. I created the actions exactly in the way you showed. But I only can see one of them in the Actions tab. However, I created two, and both actions exist.
Hello again.
I solved the problem by deleting Flow Action from my branch and create new one in the Object Data Actions tab.
The problem was when I created a new action in the Object Data Actions tab I didn’t save it. So the flow action was created in the branch but not added to the tab, because of Save. I believe it would be a good improvement to allow adding an existing flow action to this tab.
But now I have another problem. I have my Actions created and configured the embedded table to call them, but they don’t appear at runtime.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
