We are facing an issue with User Reference fields in a Constellation full-page view configured for a Data Type.
The view contains multiple User Reference fields. One of the fields references an operator who is not associated with the current application, while another field references an operator who is associated with the application.
When clicking the User Reference field containing an operator who is not associated with the application, no popup is displayed. However, after clicking the User Reference field containing a valid operator associated with the application, both popups are displayed on the previously clicked non-application operator field.
Steps to reproduce:
-
Configure multiple User Reference fields in a full-page Data Type view.
-
Set one User Reference field to an operator who is not associated with the current application.
-
Set another User Reference field to an operator who is associated with the current application.
-
Click the User Reference field containing the non-application operator.
-
Observe that no popup is displayed.
-
Click the User Reference field containing the application operator.
-
Observe that two popups are displayed against the previously clicked non-application operator field.
Actual behavior:
No popup is displayed when clicking the User Reference field containing the non-application operator. After clicking the field containing the application operator, two popups are displayed against the previously clicked non-application operator field.
Expected behavior:
Each User Reference popup should be displayed only against the corresponding field that was clicked. If operator details are unavailable because the operator is not associated with the current application, the interaction should be handled appropriately without retaining the previous click state or displaying another field’s popup against it.
Environment:
-
UI Architecture: Constellation
-
View type: Full-page Data Type view
-
Pega Platform version: 25.1.2
