Monitor user hits to pega application

Hello,

We have a scenario when users are using RPA on their desktop and running reports in pega application every few minutes. I am reaching out to understand if there is any monitoring available out of the box in pega to identify hits from bots since this will impact the performance of the application.

What is the authentication mechanism used by the RPA to connect to Pega ?

If it is a basic authentication configured across the users, tracking the user names in the list of sessions could be helpful.
