In order to use constellation UI and customize UI assets for on-premise, docker installation is required. But is K8s configuration also a pre-requisite or is there any alternation approach to this like VM based instead of kubernetes?
@ROHITN26 Pega Platform supports both containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Virtual Machine (VM)-based deployments.
However, starting with Pega Platform version 8.8, the infrastructure support for VM-based deployments has changed from Standard Support to Deprecated Support.
Pega recommends using containerized deployments in Kubernetes environments for better scalability and flexibility.

Understanding the Pega deployment architecture
https://documents.constellation.pega.io/static/88/introduction.html. This document states clearly that to install, you must have K8s skills and network knowledge. This is because you have to configure to work with your specific network and deployment architecture.

If the documentation does not give you the details you need and you still require help you could try to tag the SME in this post.
