Install DMGR 5.4 without Secure Communication

Hi,

It appears DMGR 5.4 is coming up with additional setup which requires the generation of client secrets on the orchestrator. I understand this setup is needed when we want to perform secure communication between the system (Pegasystems Documentation)

I could not see any such mandatory requirement for DMGR 4.8 and since I am setting the new DMGR for testing purposes and want to explore new features, can we skip this step so that we can create some test pipelines between non-securesystems?

As per the attached screenshot, I am getting the below error:–

“There is an error fetching details from Deployment Manager services http://lx73173.sbcore.net:10000/prweb and Deployment Manager Studio will not function as expected. Please verify the configuration of the Orchestrator URL and authentication profiles configured. Error: Caught unhandled exception: com.pega.pegarules.pub.PRRuntimeException: PRRuntimeException”

It’s mentioned in the installation guide - Pegasystems Documentation that Orchestrator environment must have HTTPS enabled in Deployment Manager 5.x so I guess this is a mandatory requirement but please let me know if there is a way to use it over a non-secure URL

It’s mandatory to use oAuth setup with https nodes so i don’t think we can skip it.
