# How to use Gen AI Connect Rule to analyze case data and decide routing or skipping stage based?

i have a scenario where I am entering certain fields of data and based on the data i want Gen AI Connect rule to change the case flow to direct settlement or hit the manual Approve/Reject step ?

Hello @MohammedS17644256

GenAI Connect rule works primarily to assess the input you have given based on the prompts and attachments you have provided and returns or maps the output as structured or unstructured.

If you expect perform assignment actions on the case based on AI decisioning, then you can opt to use agent rules by providing necessary tools to it.

26.1.1  
i do not see the option to include documents attachments for ai assessment. Doc AI Connect Rule is flow rule but it is doing Async Processing. I want Synchronous processing.
