Hi Team, I have an Account Number dropdown that is sourced from a data page. The selected Account Number is being passed as a parameter to render the account history in a view in Pega Constellation 25.1.3. However, when I click Submit, the selected Account Number value is not getting persisted to the clipboard at pyWorkPage.TempPage.AccountNumber. Could you please help identify if any additional configuration is required to ensure the value is posted correctly to the clipboard?
One thing to be aware of is that the clipboard in Constellation does not behave the same way as it does in traditional UI applications. Constellation uses a stateless architecture, so requestor sessions are ended and the server-side clipboard is released after each DX API call. As a result, data currently being used by the UI may exist in client-side state and not necessarily be visible on the clipboard between interactions.
It’s not clear from your post whether the account history is failing to render, or whether the concern is only that pyWorkPage.TempPage.AccountNumber is not visible on the clipboard. If the history is rendering correctly, this may simply be expected Constellation behaviour rather than a functional issue.
For troubleshooting, I’d recommend checking the value in Redux DevTools, as Constellation maintains UI state in Redux. The following article covers the available debugging tools:

Can you confirm whether the account history renders correctly after Submit, or is the issue specifically that the value is not visible on the clipboard?
Hi Venkata,
Could you please check the context of the view where the AccountNumber property is configured? Is it directly on the work page, or is it inside an embedded page?
The value will get auto-persisted based on the context of the view.
For example, if pyWorkPage belongs to the work class and TempPage belongs to a different data class, the view should be configured in the context of that data class for the value to be persisted to TempPage.AccountNumber.
If the view is configured in the wrong class context, Pega may not be able to resolve the property correctly.
Also, while submitting, please check the Network tab and verify whether the DX API request contains the selected Account Number with the correct page instruction, such as TempPage.AccountNumber, or whether it is being sent directly as AccountNumber.
If the value is not included in the request with the correct page context, it will not get persisted to the clipboard. This should help identify whether the issue is with the view context or the request mapping.
Hi Venkat,
Click on Refresh button in Clipboard or reopen case. Clipboard data automatically refreshed.
If you wish to populate data, you have to create property or Field from View and set Data using Data Transform. In View Pre/Post Data Transform Configuration available.
