Hi, My use case is: Email with attachment → Email Listener → Create Case → GenAI Connect analyzes the attachment I use the OOTB AddAttachmentFromMail activity, which successfully attaches the email attachments to the case (they are visible in the Attachments widget). However, GenAI Connect requires an Attachment property as input. I haven’t found a way to automatically assign the case attachment to this property. Has anyone implemented a similar scenario and managed to automatically pass an incoming email attachment to GenAI Connect? Thanks!

@RameshSangili will there be an update to this process when DocAI is introduced in 26.1.1 or will we continue to use GenAI Connect rule?

Yes, we will continue using Gen AI connect rule. I think it’s a good Product enhancement to consider to use Doc AI for case attachments (Part of the utility widget)

thank you @RameshSangili for sharing the link. Indeed the step 13 answers my question. great guide by @Will_Cho

Thanks, that makes sense as I believe in 26.1.1 the attachment field goes away with GenAI connect rule.

@fowlk What do you mean the attachment field will go away in 26.1.1 with the GenAI Connect rule?

With 26.1.1, the GenAI connect rule won’t have the Attachment Field (see below). Starting with 26.1.1, we’re supposed to use the DocAI rule to extract data from an attachment. Prior to 26.1.1, we could use the GenAI Connect rule. Thank you for explaining this @fowlk
