# How to close a standalone case instead of clicking on dismiss

I have a requirement to work on standalone cases (cases not opened in interaction). so after resolving the case, i couldn’t see a option to close it. I should click on dismiss to close it. Is there any option to close it without clicking on dismiss.

This seems to be customized from OOTB based on your screenshot.

This is the OOTB way for interaction portal. The only other option I see is the cross that appears when the left navigation is expanded.

I don’t see any customisation around case close, the framework which we are using currently is CustomerService-HC-Constellation. Could u pls confirm if the screenshot u shared belongs to same framework.

It appears like this when we expand the left navigation panel. I am seeing it in Interaction portal in CS framework
