External Cassandra not balancing load across all nodes in a cluster

Hi,

Greetings. Hope you are doing well! We have recently upgraded to Pega 8.8.2 with external cassandra with a single data center but 10 nodes in a cluster, when running performance tests, observed that load is not distributed across all the 10 nodes in the data center. Is there any specific configuration from Pega that needs to be done so that the load balances across all the nodes.

We haven’t changed the default settings like replication factor, read_consistency, write_consistency.

Cassandra balances the load within the cluster internally, this particular issue is when we have few unreachable nodes in the cluster from Pega, when we started the nodes which are down, load has been distributed across all the nodes in balanced way.
