My Thoughts
The system is working as designed, for security and performance reasons this is secured on the DX API calls used by Constellation UI and Extended options like SDK/DX.
- On a side note, its an interesting tug of war between Security in Constellation (I don’t want anyone seeing this data) and wanting continue create “action sets” in Constellation to dynamically change data that aren’t even visible.
Lots of detail provided below but I would be looking to use pre/post processing to update data as needed, in a stateless UI architecture its important to have a centre-out data centric approach to design. However, its great to have insights into these kind approaches that have helped real life implementations.
