Does Pega Customer Service - Constellation support Client Based Access Control?

In Pega Infinity 8.x I have used CBAC with the pre defined GDPR case type now with customer service based on constellation I cannot find those ootb gdpr case types as service cases.

In the implementation guide the gdpr case type is only mentioned in the legacy UIKit implementation documentation.

What does this mean? Is CBAC not supported in CS Constellation?

Is there an alternative?

I asume we can still use the CBAC rules to define data to be erased, but before I let impl. the whole process on our own I want to know, that I have nothing overseen and if no I would like to know why such an importand process is not supported by CS constellation!

@WilhelmM

We have not implemented a GDPR/data rights case type in Customer Service on Constellation, but the core CBAC rules are available and can be configured to facilitate control of customer data in the Pega database.

We are considering adding a customer data rights-related case type in Customer Service and part of our roadmap initiatives and will continue to review customer requirements/scenarios to ensure we can implement a solution that can be used/extended by all of our customers that have a need/interest.

Pega’s platform documentation provides guidance on implementing data rights protection capabilities, you may find this related set of articles helpful: Pegasystems Documentation

@ScottKennedy

Thanks Scott.

We are already in contact with the Pega Procut team to get this feature in one of the upcoming releases.

Thanks for your response.
