Yes, if generating custom UI for Pega applications leveraging the Traditional UI architecture, the Traditional Starter Packs (React and Angular in particular) provide wonderful examples of how the DX APIs may be utilized to build your own user experience driven by the Pega case model specified via AppStudio (with the additional caveat that all transactions must work with the stateless nature of the DX API requestors).
