We have a thread-level List Data Page that accepts one parameter and does not have any refresh strategy configured.
This Data Page is used in two places:
- As the source/reference for an embedded list property that is displayed in a view.
- In a local action post-processing activity, where the Data Page contents are copied to another clipboard page list using a Page-Copy method.
The sequence of events is as follows:
- When the user accesses the view, the embedded list property references the Data Page and the Data Page is loaded successfully with records.
- Later, the user launches and submits a local action.
- During post-processing, the activity accesses the same Data Page instance and performs the Page-Copy.
My expectation is that the Data Page instance should already be available in memory with the previously loaded data. However, when the post activity accesses it, the Data Page instance exists but contains 0 records. We are not explicitly removing or clearing the Data Page anywhere before the copy operation.
if the Data Page refresh strategy is changed to “Reload once per interaction”, the Data Page reloads and returns the expected records.
Could there be any reason why a thread-level (and even requestor-level) Data Page instance is found but contains no results, despite having been loaded earlier and not being explicitly removed?
