We are building **Insights** for our application, and when exporting an insight to Excel, the downloaded file is automatically named in the format \_YYYY\_MM\_DD\_HH-MM-SS.xlsx (for example, **D\_pyAllWork\_2026\_05\_11\_16-15-33.xlsx** ), which is not very user‑friendly; instead, we would like the exported file to use the Insight name in the filename, such as **InsightTitle\_YYYY\_MM\_DD\_HH-MM-SS.xlsx** , and would like to know if there is a supported way in Pega Constellation to customize or override the default Excel export file name. Pega Version 25.1 ---

No – in Pega Constellation there is currently no supported, out‑of‑the‑box way to customize or override the Excel export file name for Insights. ---

Thanks for the quick response. It will be hard to convince the business as it looks odd from the end user perspective.
