# CDH 8.5.5 upgrade to 8.7 or 8.8

Hi, team. We currently have 8.5.5 versions installed on-premise. Components are listed below

- Customer Decision Hub
- Adaptive Decision Manager service
- Visual Business Director
- Data Flow service

Our DB is Oracle 19C. Do you have guides for in-place upgrade to 8.7 or 8.8? What are the high or medium vulnerabilities resolved by the new versions, 8.7 and 8.8?

@SushantSamuel Thanks for the reply.

So, we can upgrade directly to 8.8. Our vendor proposed a step upgrade, i.e. to version 8.6 first. Please advise.

Hi @ReneC16877259,

As described in the update guide you can directly update to latest pega platform and CDH version 8.8.
