Can we delegate a SLA rule?-as per an article we can delegate these rules in pega-In Pega, rules like Decision Tables, Data Types, When Conditions, Map Values, and SLA Rules are delegated to business users for updates without IT intervention. But as far as I know SLA Cant be delegated, kindly help here,
we can’t directly delegate the SLA directly in pega atleast till 8.x we can implement that setting up the goal, deadline , past deadline by using different functional conditions through the decission table /data types in pega.
@TanyaS58 I think we can Deligate The SLA Rules also Open the rule and on the Actions>Delegate then give the acces Group as you can see in the below Snip
SLA rules are delegable in Pega, but with limitations. Business users can typically update goals, deadlines, and a small set of escalation actions through the delegated rule form. However, SLAs that calculate service levels from a property value cannot be delegated in the same way, and delegated SLA edits are intentionally restricted to keep the rule safe for business users
Hi @Sohan_Reddy_Anugu I cant see this in my SLA,which version of pea are you using?
Hi @TanyaS58 I’m using the latest version, Pega Infinity '25 (Constellation). I believe you might be using a different version, which could be why you’re not seeing the Delegate option.
Even i tried to check in Pega Community edition but still this option was not available, might be the case.
