Hello, My question relates to the movement of instanced work, ie CDH Campaigns, between different environments dev/qa/etc.
What is the best practice on this? Should this be done? If we were to do it is there a tool in CDH that is recommended for this or is this like moving Work from a lower environment to a higher environment on standard pega? If this is the case what is the best practice for moving work from one environment to another?
@Tennyson , for Campaigns, the best practice is to only move the constituent parts of a campaign, but not the campaign itself. Because the campaign is a work object and holds very little, it’s recommended that this artifact be configured at the target system, pointing to the constituent parts that were migrated from lower systems.
if you are using NBA Designer and it’s outbound schedule feature (which is a best practice in itself - use them over Campaigns), the best practice is to use 1:1 Operations Manager which will migrate the schedule configuration between systems, but you will still need to activate the schedule in your target systems, one migrated via Operations Manager.
