Authentication Failed error - User is Kicked out in mobile

Hi Everyone,

When I tried to log in to the Pega mobile application, I encountered an “authentication failed” message on the login screen. Could someone please help resolve this issue?

FYI: The development works fine in the development environment, but when the same code is deployed to the pre-production environment, it causes an issue

Thanks for posting the question. However, without additional details it is difficult to give a meaningful recommendation. It might be the difference in authentication keys/secrets between the environments. If you suspect a product issue, it might constitute the SR in MSP.

My recommendation would be first to try to reproduce the issue in the small sample application. That will allow to isolate the issue and make troubleshooting easier. Second, carefully check the logs when issue is reproduced - likely there are relevant messages there, which might light up the idea of what is going wrong.

If none of that helps, then create an SR and provide the following information:

  1. The sample application where issue is reproduced if created
  2. Exact steps to reproduce the issue - as detailed as possible
  3. Expected outcome and actual outcome - again as detailed as possible, including the error messages, redirects, etc.
  4. Type of authentication used and configuration details. Any differences in the configuration between environments (even those that you think are obvious).
  5. Relevant log messages

The chances are that while collecting this information you might be able to identify and resolve the issue yourself, however if not - then our GCS team would be able to assist.
