As @RameshSangili mentioned, it’s not directly possible.
The attachment which you upload will reside on the case as embedded data with data-workattach-file-temp instance created and only on the save or submit of assignment the link-attachment will be created and you will see the attachment linked to the case.
Option 1: You can try clicking the save for later button that will save your case and when you open the assignment again (refresh the case), your attachment will be linked to the case and then you can summarize the content with genAI.
Option 2: There is a new feature in v26 where you can auto save the assignment information without clicking on the save for later or submit. I have not tried it yet though. Refer to the below post’s latest reply.
